The storied hotel, which was officially opened by guest of honor President John F. Kennedy in February 1963, has accommodated innumerable VIP guests throughout its history. It was announced that the hotel’s restoration is set for completion sometime in April 2012, with renowned interior designer Dominick Coyne at the helm of this elaborate project. A major aspect of the transformation is the refurbishing of all three of the luxury hotel’s Presidential suites, which provide 2,000 square feet of living space.
